Scholarship

The Brunswick Sheriff’s Charitable Foundation is offering one or more $1,500 scholarships. Those eligible to apply must be:

  • The child of a current, retired, or deceased employee of the Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office. The term “child” means one who is the natural or legally adopted child of a current, retired, or deceased employee or a child whose legal guardian is a current, retired, or deceased employee of the Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office; and 
  • A graduating high school senior who has been accepted at an accredited post secondary school or an individual up to the age of 21 who is enrolled as a fulltime student at an accredited post secondary school.

Scholarships shall be awarded on the basis of an essay on the required topic, academic achievement, school and community involvement, and communication skills.
